Jose Avalos is the Nebraska State Match Games Title Challenge Championship for 2009.  He defeated John Pestal on Sunday 10-26 in a best out of 12 games.  6 games of 3-move and 6 games of GAYP was scheduled. Jose won the match 7 wins 2 losses and no draws.
